Hackathon Brainstorming Meeting

Topic: Brainstorming

Date: 4/13/2026

Attendance List

Agenda

For this meeting, we need to discuss the tracks presented at the hackathon. Based on these tracks, we need to come up with a few problem statements for which we are able to build memorable and unique solutions.

Quick note: we should compare ideas by impact, feasibility, and originality.

Unfinished Business

Last meeting, we confirmed that everyone was attending the hackathon. We did not come up with an idea for the hackathon.

  1. Finalize at least one strong project direction.
  2. Choose one backup idea in case of scope concerns.

New Business

We need to talk about potential problems that can be solved, as well as discussing ways to make our project unique.

Candidate focus areas: education, health, and campus life.

Miscellaneous Comments, Questions, and Concerns

Would we like to do a hardware-focused, software-focused, or combined project?

Team reminder:
Try to keep the MVP small, then iterate.

We are excited about building something useful and memorable for demo day.

Open for a quick tie-breaker question

If two ideas are equally strong, should we pick the one with lower risk or the one with higher innovation?
